BIRMINGHAM, UK: As a global oral health care technology provider with over 100 years of industry experience, Carestream Dental has witnessed massive change in the field of dentistry. The company’s commitment to providing industry-leading digital dental product lines and services was evident at this year’s British Dental Conference and Dentistry Show, held in Birmingham on 18 and 19 May, with demonstrations of the latest features of the CS R4+ practice management software.
With more than 13,000 dental professionals gathered for the event, members of the Carestream team showed how CS R4+ could benefit practices. Various key performance indicators can be monitored in real time through the Springboard feature, and complete integration with the DEPPA patient assessment tool allows for massive time-saving benefits. The CS 8100 imaging system was also featured at the Carestream booth, with the various options providing cutting-edge technology. The CS 3600 intra-oral scanner, with its continuous scanning function, high-speed capability and intelligent matching system, proved to be a hit with conference attendees.
Dental professionals were also able to find out more about the Exchange, an online platform designed for the sharing of ideas with colleagues and experts about CS R4+ and improving user experiences with this software. Carestream was quick to allay concerns, however, about how the new General Data Protection Regulation could impact this sharing, emphasising that the company regards its commitment to customer and patient privacy highly, and thus has designed its software to ensure the protection of personal information and data.
