LONDON, UK: In 1999, Align Technology debuted Invisalign, an aesthetic tooth straightening system that is barely visible. Last year saw the company launch Invisalign Go, a system for its flagship product specifically designed for use by general dental practitioners (GDPs). In an upcoming webinar for the Dental Tribune Study Club on Monday, 24 April, two experts will explain and demonstrate the use of Invisalign Go to guide GDPs through the process of identifying, planning and treating aesthetic cases.

Drs Raman Aulakh and Barry Buckley will present the webinar and provide advice on the various benefits of implementing Invisalign Go in the dental practice. The webinar will highlight how the simplified approach of this system allows for clear aligner therapy to be offered with confidence to more patients.

Aulakh has been an Invisalign provider since 2008 and has treated thousands of Invisalign cases. He is a specialist orthodontist, a tutor at King’s College London Dental Institute, and a clinical speaker and key opinion leader for Invisalign.

Buckley runs a cosmetic dentistry clinic in a private hospital outside Dublin in Ireland. Since 2003, he has worked with all short-term orthodontic appliances, but now works exclusively with Invisalign.

The 1-hour webinar, titled “Did you know that 75% of your patients could benefit from a smile improvement? Invisalign Go clear aligner therapy, designed for the general dentist”, will be broadcast live on Monday, 24 April, from 8 p.m. BST. Attendance is free of charge after easy registration on the website. Participants will be able to ask questions via a chat window and have the opportunity to earn a continuing education credit by completing a multiple-choice questionnaire on the topic discussed.
