LEIPZIG, Germany: Dental professionals interested in developing strategies for the restoration of large size cavities and learning the protocol for direct and indirect restorations with fibre reinforced composites are invited to participate in a webinar presented by the Dental Tribune Study Club (DT Study Club). The online lecture that will discuss these topics will be held on 4 October and is free of charge.
Lecturer Stephane Browet runs a private practice focused on microscope aided restorative dentistry. Additionally, he is an international teacher for rubberdam isolation, microscope dentistry, posterior & anterior composites, indirect restorations.
In the webinar, Stephane Browet will discuss biomechanical considerations of the tooth-restoration complex and a strategy for stopping crack propagation and avoiding new crack development (cavity preparation design, material selection). The course will also give information about fibre reinforced composite technology (material description of biomechanical properties) and protocols for restoring big cavities (direct technique, indirect technique)
The one-hour webinar, titled “Fibre reinforced composites … a real break-through—Strategies for the restoration of large size cavities” will be broadcast online on Friday, 4 October, from 11 a.m. EST. Participants will be able to ask questions via a chat window and have the opportunity to earn a continuing education credit by completing a multiple-choice questionnaire on the topic discussed.
