BIRMINGHAM, UK: Behind every smile, there’s a story—an obstacle overcome, a challenge accepted, a workflow streamlined, a life changed—not just from the perspective of the patient but also from the perspective of those who create those smiles. Carestream Dental is proud to play a key part in these stories. At the 2019 British Dental Conference and Dentistry Show, to take place on 17 and 18 May at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, Carestream Dental will be telling the stories of patients and the oral healthcare professionals who changed their lives.

Carestream Dental is a company entirely focused on digital dentistry, offering practice management software, high-end imaging and CAD/CAM solutions. Attendees of the upcoming show will get a glimpse of its exciting new dental software and equipment, which aim at redefining scanning workflows and providing more options for dental professionals.

Some of the top names in oral health will be joining Carestream Dental at this year’s event, presenting their clinical cases and the stories behind their smiles. These include:

  • Dr Adam Nulty, who will be in the BACD Aesthetic and Digital Dentist Theatre on Friday, 17 May, at 12.45 p.m. to present a talk titled “How the digital workflow changed mine and my patients’ lives”;
  • David Claridge, who will be discussing “Scanomics: The business argument in favour of digital impressions” at the Clinical Dental Technician Conference at 10.45 a.m. on Saturday, 18 May; and
  • Dr Kunal Shah, who will be talking in the Implant and Advanced Dental Education Theatre about “The implants behind the smile” at 1:30 p.m. on that same day.

Carestream Dental products to be showcased at the largest dental event in the UK include the CS 3600 intra-oral scanner, which offers intuitive and accurate scanning that gives dental professionals the ability to create vibrant, high-definition, 3-D colour images quickly and comfortably, allowing for easy movement from examination to treatment. The CS 3100 milling system, which enables dental professionals to expand their chairside restorative treatment options and deliver aesthetic, accurate and durable restorations, will also be on display in Birmingham.

The versatile and innovative CS 9600 system, which offers a broad range of volume sizes and software applications, will also be on display. The CS 9600 features breakthrough technology that enables dental professionals to produce high-quality images with ease. The easy-to-use 3-D software allows for easy planning, presentation of treatment plans and image sharing.

Attendees will also be able to try out the CS R4+ practice management software, which provides an ideal combination of power and simplicity, helping to deliver service in a way that works for dental practices and patients alike. Carestream Dental will also be previewing the latest CS Care Management Platform, the cloud service that combines powerful cloud imaging, focused workflow, intuitive design and access to patient data from any place, at any time, into one single solution.
