LONDON, UK: Following up on the presentation of its latest Invisalign technology at the Dentistry Show in Birmingham, Align Technology has said it will host two one-day educational seminars for providers of the tooth correction solution in London and Birmingham in June. Two plenary sessions at the meetings will be presented by Invisalign expert Dr Mohsen Tehranian from Dream Smile Dental Clinic in London, in which he will advise participants on integrating Invisalign into an aesthetic dentistry practice, in addition to treating common malocclusions like crowding.

Tehranian will also demonstrate case selection for Invisalign Lite and i7, the company said. Both products were introduced to the Invisalign portfolio recently in an effort to treat patients with minor malocclusions or who have lapsed teeth owing to infrequent retainer wear after having undergone orthodontic treatment in the past.

Participants will also be introduced to the world of digital scanning with a workshop on Invisalign treatments with the iTero intra-oral scanner.

“As a practice we offer well-organised treatment planning,” Tehranian said. “Our impressions are taken onsite digitally with the iTero Scanner and we ensure all attachments are pre-prepared ahead of each patient appointment. Such efficiencies have resulted in our ability to offer Invisalign at extremely competitive prices.”

In addition to Tehranian’s presentations, two interactive sessions on treatment planning and ClinCheck Pro with 3D Controls will be held by invisibleTx founder Brian Asselin and Align staff dentist Dr Erico Pilapil from San Francisco in the US.

Dental professionals who would like more information or are interested in attending the seminars are advised to contact their local territory manager or customer care at Align. The attendance fee for each event is ‎£50.
