LONDON, UK: The 96th General Session and Exhibition of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) has begun and is being held in conjunction with the IADR Pan European Regional Congress until 28 July at the ExCeL London convention centre. The event is the foremost scientific meeting for the fields of oral, craniofacial and dental research and offers a top-notch scientific programme, as well as the opportunity to earn continuing education credits.
The estimated 5,500 event attendees can expect over 3,200 scientific abstract presentations, 83 on-site and nine satellite symposia, as well as 23 keynote lectures on a wide array of subjects, including neuroscience and salivary research, nutrition, tissue mineralisation, and paediatric and geriatric oral health research. The 2018 General Session App enables visitors to read the full abstracts, compile custom schedules, network with other attendees, view venue maps and more. Over 60 leading dental companies and institutions are taking part in this year’s exhibition, providing hands-on demonstrations and promoting new product and treatment developments.
The 97th General Session and Exhibition of the IADR has meanwhile been announced and will be held in conjunction with the annual meetings of the American and the Canadian associations for dental research from 19 to 22 June 2019 in Vancouver in Canada.
The IADR, headquartered in Alexandria in the US, is a non-profit organisation with nearly 11,000 members worldwide. It is the leading body globally for oral and dental research. Its mission is to advance oral health research and facilitate the communication and application of research findings.
Although online registration for this year's event is now closed, on-site registration is still possible in Hall S11 on Level 1. Registration times and rates can be found at www.iadr.org/2018iags/registration.
