LEUVEN, Belgium: GC Europe, a leading oral health company supplying dental products and services to dental professionals, is emphasising the importance of in-person continuing education this year. With an extensive programme at the GC Europe Campus in Belgium and at additional training centres across Europe, including in Spain, Italy, France and Turkey, the company is highlighting a core belief: confidence in new techniques and materials is built through personal experience, practical application and expert guidance.
Live education at the heart of GC’s philosophy
“Everything in life is based on education. You cannot experience the quality of a material simply by studying a catalogue—you have to feel it and use it,” said Dr Simone Moretto, meeting and education centre manager at GC Europe. This approach is reflected in the 2026 programme. At the main site in Belgium alone, up to 260 training days are held each year in numerous languages. The 1,600 m² GC Europe Campus serves as an international meeting place where dentists, dental technicians and students from around the world come together to learn from recognised experts and key opinion leaders. Across Europe, GC offers more than 3,000 educational sessions.
Advanced facilities for practical learning
Participants benefit from state-of-the-art technical equipment designed to link theory and practice. The two specialised training laboratories can accommodate up to 18 people each, providing an ideal setting for intensive hands-on sessions in a focused working environment. For larger groups, practical sessions can also be held in one of the larger meeting rooms, with capacity for almost 80 trainees.
The clinical treatment room, equipped with advanced technology including digital radiography, enables realistic live demonstrations under clinical conditions. High-quality multimedia equipment also allows courses to be streamed in real time, enabling up to 100 participants to follow even complex workflows in detail.
Clinical solutions beyond product knowledge
A distinctive feature of GC training courses is their focus on clinical solutions rather than purely product-based presentations. This year, the two-day intensive courses cover four key areas: restorative dentistry, digital laboratory workflows, Minimum Intervention Dentistry and the GC Initial ceramic philosophy. Together, these courses address aesthetics, function, CAD/CAM integration, prevention-focused concepts and systematic approaches for dental technicians.
GC Dental Campus extends access online
Although live training remains the priority, the GC Dental Campus complements the in-person programme as a digital learning platform. With nearly 20,000 registered users, it serves as a global hub for live and on-demand webinars in multiple languages.
“Digital education will never replace hands-on experience,” said Ward Gerets, manager of marketing communications and services at GC Europe. “However, the online campus helps us expand the reach of our experts and gives participants a first impression of the quality of our campus activities,” he added.
Tailored continuing education from course search to certificate
Dental professionals interested in the programme can book the European course offering via the central platform. The process enables real-time registration, as well as easy management of certificates and additional learning content. More information on the full programme and online registration can be found at www.gc.dental and www.gcdentalcampus.com.
