LONDON, UK/ZURICH, Switzerland: Inventor of the All-on-4 treatment concept Dr Paulo Malo from Portugal is only one of the world-renowned experts that has been announced for the upcoming Nobel Biocare Symposium in London. The company has now said that limited places are still available for the meeting, which will take place at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in Kensington on 10 and 11 November.

The last one in a series of worldwide events, the London symposium will also have Spanish clinician Dr Rubén Davó presenting on Nobel Biocare’s latest innovation, Trefoil, for the first time in the UK. Considered a breakthrough in full-arch treatment, the system allows the fixed, definitive full-arch restoration of the mandible in one day. Combining a pre-manufactured titanium bar, three implants and a simplified restorative workflow without provisionals, it reduces the time to teeth and chair time compared with conventional fixed treatment with implants, Nobel Biocare said.

Other highlights of the symposium in London are presentations on the benefits of an integrated digital workflow by Dr Roland Glauser from Switzerland and Drs Léon Pariente and Karim Dada from France. The UK’s own Dr Andrew Dawood will provide information about the management of the atrophic maxilla using zygomatic implants.

Dental professionals can register for the event online at nobelbiocare.com/london, where they can also find details about the programme. According to Nobel Biocare, over 6,000 dental professionals so far have attended this year’s symposia, which were held in Russia, China, Japan and the US, among other places.
