BRIGHTON, UK: At the British Orthodontic Society congress (BOC), being held until 25 September in Brighton, Dr Sam Daher, a key speaker for Align Technology and one of the world’s pre-eminent experts on the Invisalign system, will address attendees on the vertical challenge of treating open bites with clear aligners tomorrow at the Brighton Centre’s main auditorium.
A certified orthodontist specialising in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics, Daher is a distinguished expert who gives advanced workshops on the specialty worldwide. He regularly publishes articles in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and other professional publications and is based in Las Vegas in the US. In recognition of his outstanding treatment with Invisalign, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Invisalign Ortho Summit in 2014.
In addition to Daher’s presentation on Saturday, congress attendees will be learning more about clear aligner treatment in a parallel session for allied health professionals today, joined by Align’s General Manager for the UK and Ireland Jamie Morley. Moreover, at a skill clinic on Sunday, Dr Erico Pilapil, senior clinical adviser for Align Technology, will give tips on how to achieve better clinical outcomes with the company’s ClinCheck software, used in Invisalign treatment.
A master class being held for registered Invisalign providers on Monday will also cover a number of clinical issues, such as treating deep bites and teenagers, as well as methods of achieving the ideal treatment outcomes with the aligner system.

Attendees can learn more about Align’s latest solutions and the benefits of the iTero intra-oral scanner, for example, at Booth 18 in the exhibition area.
