BIRMINGHAM, UK: The Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) is inviting dentists in the UK interested in dental implant therapy to their next congress, to be held from 14 to 16 May at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow. Entitled “Implant Dentistry Moving Forward: Experience—Evidence—Excellence”, the event will feature a number of highly respected speakers, including ADI President Philip Friel and ADI Scientific Coordinator Stephen Jacobs.
According to the ADI, their Team Congress format aims to educate the entire dental implant team through a high-quality scientific plenary programme for clinicians running alongside a technician programme and a team programme, which includes sessions for dental nurses and practice managers, as well as hygienists and therapists. Team programme delegates can select one of two streams for the interactive workshops, learning from Anthony Bendkowski, Jo Dickinson, Ashley Latter, Jamie Maguire, Adam Noble, Craig Parker, Kia Rezavandi, Donald Thomson, Karen Walker, Nicola West, John Wibberley and Zoe Wray, among other speakers.
The new Audience Response Session, chaired by Michael Norton, will provide an exciting interactive addition to the format, the organisation said. Also new to this year’s event is the pre-congress Corporate Forums programme, offering a unique and significant opportunity to view the latest research and development in the dental implant market, through sessions hosted by ADI company members. A major trade exhibition will run concurrently throughout the congress and feature over 70 exhibitors showcasing the many increasingly diverse technologies and product lines in dental implantology.
To complement the extensive educational programme, the ADI Team Congress 2015 will be hosting two social events, with the ADI Congress Drinks Reception held on the first night of the congress and “A Night at the Museum” congress dinner at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
The full programme of hosts, speakers and topics is available on the ADI website at www.adi.org.uk/congress2015.
