BIRMINGHAM, UK: At the 2016 Dentistry Show in Birmingham, A-Dec has introduced the new MY A-dec app, available to dealers to tailor the dental chair design for the individual dentist. The app features numerous design choices, including a range of upholstery colours, various options for touchpads, delivery systems, cuspidors, lights and much more. With the new designs, this leading manufacturer of dental chairs, delivery systems and dental lights now offers a more extensive range of individual equipment solutions.
The design options are demonstrated on an A-dec 500 unit, the company’s flagship chair. Known for its exceptional patient comfort, it synchronises the chair movement with the natural motion of the patient. The dental chair has an ultra-thin backrest and slim-profile headrest that provides more leg room under the chair, enabling the dentist to position the patient low enough for ergonomic access to the oral cavity. Other advantages include an innovative hydraulic lift system and pressure relief support via a dynamic seat assembly for good blood flow to the leg.
With the new app, customers can now easily choose between 30 colours for either sewn or seamless upholstery, among other options. “The range of designs is incredible and further proof of A-dec’s exceptional customer service. It makes you want to sit on an A-dec chair even more,” remarked Dean Hallows, General Manager at A-dec Dental UK. Visitors to the A-dec booth (L60) can also experience the newly updated A-dec 300 chair and the A-dec LED light.
