LONDON, UK: At the upcoming Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) Masterclass in London, the developer of the All-on-4 surgical protocol, Dr Paulo Malo from Portugal, will discuss how the solution allows for immediate-function, full-arch, implant-supported prostheses. Furthermore, he will demonstrate how to achieve outstanding aesthetic, precise and consistent prosthetic results.
Attendees will leave the morning session with an enhanced understanding of the treatment options available to patients with failed dentition, as well as with a wealth of information on the principles, advantages and biomechanics of the All-on-4 concept, the organiser said. In the afternoon, Malo will consider more challenging cases where standard protocols alone cannot deliver the very best results and zygomatic implants are indicated. Among other things, he will discuss the evolution of this complex treatment modality and highlight the key indications and contra-indications for treatment.
To be held on 10 March at the IET London, along with a trade exhibition presenting the latest products and materials, the ADI Masterclass will also focus on the fields of immediate implantation and immediate loading. The organiser has announced that Italian dentist Dr Marco Degidi will discuss how patient demand has driven advancement of the technique over time and when the approach is suitable. Guidelines for constructing electrically welded prostheses, as well as the main indications for using the WeldOne—an intra-oral welding technique—and Conometric concepts, will also be provided.
Dental professionals interested in attending can find more information and register online at www.adi.org.uk/masterclass18. Discounts are available for ADI members.
