BIRMINGHAM, UK: DS World UK opened today at The Vox at the NEC Birmingham, bringing together more than 500 participants for two days of clinical education, hands-on learning, product demonstrations and professional exchange. The event follows its UK debut last year with more than 40 sessions and workshops covering implantology, endodontics, orthodontics, digital dentistry and CAD/CAM, laboratory workflows and practice management.

The programme offers participants a wide range of educational opportunities, including lectures, workshops, masterclasses and multidisciplinary sessions. Topics include digital dentures, immediate implant placement, ridge preservation, minimally invasive endodontics, clear aligner therapy, guided implant surgery, artificial intelligence, digital restorative workflows and practice development. Award-winning author, broadcaster and TEDx speaker Jez Rose is this year’s keynote speaker and will explore how changes in mindset, behaviour and environment can influence outcomes for individuals, teams and organisations.

The quiz was moderated by Dr Martin Wanendeya, an award-winning implant dentist and key opinion leader for Dentsply Sirona.

Alongside the educational programme, an exhibition area allows participants to explore dental technologies and workflows and meet industry representatives.
