• To understand what treatments are appropriate for peri-implant diseases and when to refer

• To discuss the diagnosis and classification of gingival recession.
• To discuss the principles of periodontal plastic surgery
• To investigate suitable options for managing gingival recession, including discussion of appropriate periodontal plastic surgery techniques

• To enable participants to better understand the risk factors associated with gingival recession
• To enable participants to better diagnose gingival recession and appreciate the options for management of gingival recession defects
