LONDON, England: SprintRay has announced that it will host the London stop of its Midas World Tour, an exclusive hands-on educational event showcasing same-day chairside 3D-printed restorative solutions. The event will take place on 22 May at the Park Hyatt London River Thames and forms part of a global tour spanning more than 30 cities worldwide in collaboration with Align Technology, GC and Meisinger Dental.

The programme will focus on single-unit restorations using the Midas Digital Press Stereolithography and will give clinicians an outlook on the multi-unit workflows expected to become available in Europe. Led by Dr Wally Renne, a recognised global key opinion leader for leading dental technology companies, the one-day masterclass will guide participants through the full workflow, including tooth preparation, digital scanning and design, 3D printing, finishing, polishing, and bonding.

Attendees will receive an introduction to the Midas ecosystem through expert-led presentations and practical hands-on training aimed at supporting predictable clinical outcomes while improving efficiency and profitability. Dr Renne said: “3D printing isn’t the future—it’s happening now. Clinicians who master these workflows today will influence the next decade.”

The London stop will also feature a Pro 2 lecture and live printing demonstration, offering clinicians the opportunity to explore complementary workflows and advanced applications. The bonus session will highlight how SprintRay’s Pro 2 3D printer can expand chairside capabilities alongside the core Midas workflow.

Patrick Thurm, managing director and general manager of SprintRay Europe, said: “For many years, single-visit restorative dentistry has been confined to a relatively small number of practices. By bringing together developments in scanning, additive manufacturing and material science within a coherent workflow, it is now becoming more accessible to a wider group of clinicians. The emphasis is on establishing a reliable and reproducible pathway to same-day restorative care, supported by education and clear clinical protocols.”
